The three already had achieved excellence in the Malaysian public, private and academic sectors and decided to join together to pool their knowledge and abilities in what they recognised as a missing link in nation's marketing and promotional structure.

After observation and careful assessment of the market place, they jointly had concluded that there was a lack of contribution by local exhibition companies to the nation's trade and economic growth, particularly by Bumiputera companies. And so EcoEvent was formed.

The company has since undertaken numerous projects, either as prime exhibition organizer or as event management consultant. This includes managing many of Malaysia's top profile exhibitions and congresses, such as ISO 9001 Award Ceremony for KLIA Consult Sdn Bhd 2003, Kuala Draft Plan Structure Exhibition 2003, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Research and Innovative Exposition 2003, Asia Pacific Natural Product Expo (NATPRO 2003), IPTA R&D Exposition 2003, 10th World Economic Development Congress, the 21st World Road Congress and Exhibition, Intelligent Transportation System Congress and Exhibition, Autodesk Asia Expo 2000, Malaysia Road Congress and Exhibition, Big Boys Toys, and many more.
